Rising Star Ranch is owned and operated by Donna Perusse. Donna has been riding horses since early childhood, having grown up on a working cattle ranch.

Donna has worked on several breeding farms as well as several large stables across the United States, where she gained valuable experience starting, training, and working various breeds of horses. She has also schooled clients from beginners to advanced show levels.

She has competed in numerous hunter/jumper competitions, barrel racing, and American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) competitions, winning and placing in hundreds of them.

Donna has extensive knowledge, having traveled abroad and trained with world-renowned hunter/jumper trainers. She schools riders in all disciplines of English and Western riding.

Donna breeds, raises, and trains champion Holsteiner and Holsteiner "crosses" for hunter/jumper, dressage, and eventing show rings.
