Our Holsteiner Mares

When looking for mares we looked for horses with great temperaments, pedigrees and conformation.  All of our mares are safe and sound to work around whether they are in the show arena or foaling stall.  They produce wonderful athletic foals with great temperaments.  Check out our mares and their pedigrees and see if you don't agree.

Adele

Adele is the most beautiful grey I think I have ever seen.  She is 4 years old and is from Stemm 776.  We are excited about having this mare in our breeding program.  Photo's coming soon!

Hope

Hope is our Main Mare Premium Select mare and was only one of 6 in the USA for 2008.  She has the most wonderful temperament, extraordinary movement and conformation.  She is bred for a 2012 foal to our stallion Company Commander.  We look for this foal to be big, athletic and to move like a dream!  Her 2011 foal is offered for sale.

Diamond

Can you say floats like a butterfly.  That describes our girl Diamond.  Her movement is impeccable and she is wonderful to watch float across the pasture.  We acquired Diamond for her movement and her wonderful calm temperament.  Her sire is currently jumping in Germany.  She is out of our mare Prima Del Rio.  Diamond has a 2010 foal that has identical movement to her with has the reach of his sire Company Commander.  Diamond will be lightly shown and bred for 2012.  Update 11/2011 ***Diamond was the highest scoring mare at the inspection earning the Primium Status award****.

Count Your Lucky Stars (aka Hoku)

 Hoku is our farm raised Malibu Barbie horse.  We have retained her in our future breeding program. She is beautiful to look at, moves extraordinary on the ground and is the princess of the farm.  She has been presented to the Holsteiner inspections and received high scores for movement and conformation.  Her scores were so good she was approved for holsteiner breeding.  Look for her foals coming from world champion hunter stallions.

Ultra Del Rio (aka) Ultimate Star

Ultra is a very talented young mare.  She is of the modern type of Holsteiner. She has the biggest personality of all the horses at the farm.  She loves to jump and can easy jumps level 4 and 5. This mare is extremely easy to ride.  She is a very intelligent mare and was the easiest horse I have ever trained. In only two lessons she had her flying lead changes down solid.  She makes a wonderful broodmare and is daughter to Prima.  She is bred  back to our Holsteiner stallion Company Commander and will foal in 2011.   You can also check out her 2009 son (Rock Star) on our foals page that is for sale.

Dixie

Dixie is from our second foal crop of Company Commander.  She is Hoku's full sister.  This mare has the most wonderful calm temperament for such a big girl.  She stands just a hair under 17 hands at 4 years old.  This mare is build for power, she loves to jump and will sometimes jump over our 500 gallon water tank just for fun.  Look for Dixie to be bred in 2012 to one of the top jumping stallions in Holsteiner breeding.

Prima Del Rio (aka Prima)

Prima is our foundation mare she is out of the great stallion Le Santo. We have  easily jumped her level 7 and 8 but, because she is more valuable to us as a broodmare we have decided to not show her. We have actually retained 3 of her daughters on our farm for future breeding stock.  We report with great sorrow that our beloved Prima was euthanized on 1/26/11.  I will miss you Prima you were to first of my great string of Holsteiner mares.  There will never be another one like you.
